Krueger Transport Equipment has delivered another healthy result for FY2020 in a challenging economic environment.
A significant reduction in debt, an improved safety outcome, strong control of costs, a further increase in capacity and a continuing investment in the business has once again delivered Krueger a strong result.
Krueger attributes this ‘pleasing result’ to the dedication of all staff from the senior leadership team all the way to its capable and committed workforce.

John Krueger is also proud of his team’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic that has seen the business put in place measures designed to make it among the safest manufacturing and service workplaces in Melbourne.
Measures include: 90 per cent of administration staff working from home, a security guard temperature testing and health questioning all persons seeking entry to the site, all main entry doors to Krueger sites are locked, face masks are mandatory, site environmental cleaning has been significantly increased, hand sanitising bottles, disinfectant and gloves are readily available, all work areas have been assessed and assigned a maximum capacity, all breaks have been staggered to reduce numbers and allow cleaning between groups, shifts have been separated by 30 minutes to allow environmental cleaning between shifts, Zoona disinfectant and electrostatic applicators are available for deep cleaning when required, video-conferencing replacing meetings and even markings placed on floors in all work areas to ensure correct social distancing.
These actions are underpinned by Krueger’s Covid-19 Safe Policy, Covid-19 Response Plan, and Covid-19 Response Team.

Even in all the turmoil and business upheaval created by the pandemic Krueger Transport Equipment has continued to invest and develop the business completing the implementation of its SAP B1 ERP system, upgrading its website, introducing Spare Parts On-Line, releasing new marketing collateral, enhancing its quoting system and nearing completion of the first of its new Pantech (Dry Van) trailers.
