CRC Industries has expanded its range of heavy-duty mechanical maintenance products with the addition of a water-based brake and parts cleaner.
The new Brakleen Water Based is strong on grime yet easy on the planet, said CRC. It offers next-generation high performance cleaning technology which is pH neutral, safe on surfaces, users and the environment.
CRC Industries Trans-Tasman Managing Director, Murray Walbran, said the product had been scientifically formulated for use across the automotive, industrial and service industry sectors.
“We are very pleased to be launching Brakleen Water Based to the market, a unique product that combines outstanding high-performance degreasing and cleaning qualities with a very positive clean safety profile,’’ Walbran said.
CRC Brakleen Water Based is biodegradable, non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-flammable, pH balanced, and water soluble. The advanced formula is powerful but non-abrasive, non-corrosive and solvent free.
It has been specially formulated to penetrate and dissolve tough grease, oil brake fluid, transmission fluid, hardened deposits and other contaminants – without the need for disassembly.
“The product has no volatile organic vapours, making it ideal for use in confined spaces. It can also be safely rinsed into oil water separators,” said Walbran.
Applications for Brakleen Water Based include fast and effective cleaning of brake and clutch parts and general mechanical equipment.
Available in a 500ml aerosol, CRC Brakleen Water Based joins the trusted Brakleen family consisting of Brakleen, Brakleen Force, Brakleen NF and Non-Chlorinated Brakleen in delivering superior parts-cleaning technology.
CRC Industries has also announced its latest sanitiser product to help the fight against Covid-19.
The new CRC Fogger Sanitiser is an Australian-made industrial strength sanitiser that kills 99.9% of germs and provides long lasting, residual protection.
Once discharged, the CRC Fogger Sanitiser generates a sanitising fog that kills germs in spaces up to 40 cubic metres.
Walbran said the product had been developed to sanitise an entire room or commercial vehicle – walls, ceiling, floor, every nook and cranny – in one easy step.
“Just activate then leave the enclosed space and the product will start working, getting into all the hard to reach spots to kill the germs that conventional cleaning techniques miss,” he said.
For use on a range of surfaces, CRC Fogger Sanitiser starts working instantly and can have sanitised a whole room in as little as 30 minutes.
Applications include rapid decontamination of automotive workshops, commercial vehicles and transport company offices.
Available in a 210ml atomiser, CRC Fogger Sanitiser joins the CRC Sanitiser family consisting of CRC Surface Sanitiser and Cleaner, CRC Surface Sanitiser aerosol, CRC Surface Fragrance Free and the CRC Sanitiser Liquid Range.
