The ATA, NSW Police and Transport for NSW will join truck drivers at the Mundoonan Rest Area Northbound for ‘Coffee with a Cop’ tomorrow, Wednesday 9 December.
The ‘Coffee with a Cop’ initiative aims to break down barriers, helping truck drivers to connect, clarify issues and address concerns directly with police officers over a cup of coffee.
Police can chat directly with drivers about current issues and chat about fatigue and getting home safely.
It is also a great way to thank drivers for their service – all over a cup of coffee.
‘Coffee with a Cop’ is taking place at the Mundoonan Rest Area Northbound, Hume Highway tomorrow, Wednesday 9 December from 7am-12pm. (Note: The rest area is mislabelled in Google Maps as ‘Mundanoon’.)
