Truckies will have to bypass the Tyagarah rest area 36km north of Ballina for most of next week as Transport for NSW carries out maintenance work there.
Weather permitting, TfNSW will be replacing sections of concrete paving from February 1-4 (Monday-Thursday), necessitating the closure of the rest stop to all vehicles, including trucks.
Alternative rest areas are available at Yelgun, Sleepy Hollow and at the Chinderah service centre, said TfNSW.
