MAN ticks the boxes with extensive portfolio on show

With an extensive product portfolio under its belt, MAN Truck & Bus will have all bases covered at an impressive display at the Brisbane Truck Show.

Displaying the powerful TGX 640hp 6×4 PerformanceLine with the spacious XXL cab, the premium 13 litre TGX 540hp 6×4 with an XLX cab, and the medium‐duty 320hp 6×4, MAN’s showcase will demonstrate wide‐ranging transport solutions suited to various applications.

The PerformanceLine is the top‐of‐the range MAN offering. Here, exclusivity meets performance. Combining innovative safety features with high power output, outstanding ride and driver comfort features, and low whole‐of‐life costs, the full width, full height, flat floor cabin is the perfect truck for any long haul assignment.

Standing proud next to the PerformanceLine will be the most versatile of MANs, the TGX 540hp. Featuring MAN’s trademark efficiency and safety features underpinned by advanced German engineering, the 540hp model comes with a full width, generously high, flat floor cabin that makes it the ideal partner for linehaul/B‐double and distribution work.

For customers needing a medium‐duty solution, MAN’s TGM offers amongst the lowest of tare weights, delivering favourably high payloads in a variety of applications. Well suited for the construction, distribution, towing and essential services industries, the TGM is available with a broad range of engine choices and various wheel base configurations and cab options.

“From the medium duty TGM to the heavy‐hitting 640hp PerformanceLine prime mover, MAN is peerless in its diverse truck product offering, and this year’s display at the Brisbane Truck Show reflects that,” said Sergio Carboni, National Sales Manager – MAN Trucks, Penske Australia.

“Even after 250 years, MAN continues to be at the forefront of engineering excellence. With an eye on both the immediate future and the long term, MAN’s truck portfolio continues to evolve in partnership with Penske Australia.:

Carboni added that as the MAN product offering matures, it continues to be refined to Australian customer demands. “Whether in the arduous Pilbara environment with our 4×4, 6×6, and 8×8 all‐wheel drive offering, or on the busiest of highways, our customers receive superior products for their bespoke requirements,” he said.

“Customers are further backed by one of the best networks nationally ensuring high quality and timely support where and when they need it.”

For Supercars fans visiting the Brisbane Truck Show on Saturday May 15, there will be a meet and greet with the Shell V‐Power Racing Team’s Will Davison and Anton De Pasquale at 12.45pm.
