Police investigating tragedy at Clybucca changeover point

Officers from Mid North Coast Police District are investigating after a man was struck and killed by a truck at a popular changeover point near Kempsey, NSW, in the early hours of yesterday morning.

About 12.50am on Tuesday, emergency services were called to the Old BP Service Station on Macleay Valley Way, near Goulds Lane, Clybucca, following reports a man had been hit by a truck.

On arrival, officers found the body of a man in the parking bay of the known truck stop.

The driver of the truck was taken for mandatory testing.

A crime scene was established and an investigation has been launched into the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
