In light of current lockdowns in Greater Sydney and Victoria, and the continued uncertainties around restrictions and border closures, MEGATRANS2021 has been postponed.
“After tightened restrictions came into place in Sydney and Melbourne over the weekend, we believe this is the best way forward for the event, to deliver the best experience for sponsors, exhibitors and attendees,” organisers said.
Due to be held September 8-10, MEGATRANS will now be moved to 16-18 February 2022. “We believe that by this time, Australia’s vaccination program will have advanced to a stage where ongoing lockdowns and travel restrictions are limited, and events can safely take place without disruption.”
All MEGATRANS tickets will carry forward to the new dates.
The Australian Logistics Council’s 2021 Technology Summit has also announced changes due to current lockdowns and restrictions. The event will still take place on its scheduled date of August 19, however the decision has been made to move the event online.
Those who have already registered will automatically be given access to the online registration, with login details to be sent soon.
