Truck curfews have been temporarily lifted across the state of Victoria for those delivering to supermarkets and pharmacies.
The truck curfew exemption is in place until 11:59pm, August 19, 2021.
“Greater flexibility is required in scheduling driver deliveries outside of normal operating hours so that supermarkets and pharmacies can meet an increased demand for essential goods,” said a statement from VicRoads.
“Heavy vehicles can pass time-based curfew ‘no trucks’ signs when making grocery deliveries to supermarkets or personal hygiene products to retail outlets.”
