A dedicated heavy vehicle testing facility for Covid will open at the Caltex Goondiwindi in Queensland from 8am tomorrow.
The road train accessible site at 227 Boundary Road will be operational seven days a week from 8am to 4pm.
Everyone entering the site must check in on the Check In Qld app and drivers will exit the heavy vehicle for the test.
4Cyte Pathology staff will be onsite to assist drivers.
Three other Queensland testing facilities dedicated solely to heavy vehicles drivers are now open at Boondall, Charlton and Port of Brisbane.
Meanwhile, Transport for NSW reports that the operating hours for the testing site at 250 Victoria Street, Wetherill Park will change to 7am to 4pm, seven days per week from today.
The operating hours have been changed due to low overnight test numbers.
