Toll Group will open Covid-19 vaccination hubs for its staff at several of its key Melbourne sites.
It will be available on a voluntary basis to all Toll employees, casuals, contractors and subcontractors – giving access to up to 3000 team members to receive a first and second dose of Pfizer.
Toll says the hubs have received approval from the federal government and will be run by nursing, medical and support team members.
Vaccinations will be available at sites in Truganina, Altona North and St Kilda Road, with plans to extend the program into more Melbourne locations and into other states in coming weeks.
“We know that accelerating the rate of vaccination is key to protecting our people and communities, as well as supporting the easing of restrictions,” said Toll Global Logistics president Peter Stokes.
“As one of Australia’s largest logistics companies, and an essential service provider, it’s important we do everything we can to support the vaccination rollout, including giving our employees priority access to vaccinations at a time and place that is convenient to them.”
