Melbourne-based truck body builders, AA Diesel Truck Bodies, has reached a huge milestone, celebrating over 20 years of truck body production.
Founders Alija and Arnel Siskovic have built their business from the ground up, delivering superior quality custom truck bodies to a wide range of businesses across Australia since the business began in 1999.
From humble beginnings working out of a small workshop based at Doveton in south-east Melbourne, the business has steadily grown to become one of the most respected names in the truck body industry. The business has seen this growth reflected in its figures, achieving a record year of production in 2020, fabricating over 250 truck bodies.
Arnel and Alija would be the first to say that it’s been a long journey from where the business started to where it is today. Being a family business, a lot of long hours have gone into ensuring that AA Diesel Truck Bodies would become one of the biggest truck body building businesses in Victoria.
“We started the business on a much smaller scale in a 300 square metre factory. We’ve now upgraded into a 2000 square metre purpose-built factory with the addition of an in-house spray booth,” said Arnel.
“Over the years, we’ve equipped our workshop with state-of-the-art machinery and technology, allowing us to complete as much work in-house as possible with our experienced truck technicians.”
The team working at AA Diesel Truck Bodies has also grown with a full team of trained technicians now working in the factory. The diverse team has allowed the business to efficiently design and fabricate an increasing number of premium quality truck bodies to suit particular specifications and requirements.
