Healthy Heads in Trucks and Sheds foundation (HHTS) has launched a webinar and toolbox talk series aiming to support industry participants with their implementation of the National Mental Health and Wellbeing Roadmap.
The series, which kicks off tomorrow as part of the foundation’s Mental Health Month activities, also provides the wider workforce with practical tips for maintaining mental health and physical wellbeing.
Earlier in 2021, HHTS provided the industry with access to the three-year Roadmap strategy, setting out the plan for improving psychological safety across the entire road transport, warehousing and logistics industries in Australia.
The seven-part program will walk managers and leaders through the research-informed workplace strategies identified in the Roadmap, which highlight the key approaches to creating psychologically safe and thriving workplaces for their employees.
The first webinar of the series will focus on Building Leadership Capability and is free to all who wish to attend. To register click here. It starts tomorrow at midday, AEDT.
HHTS CEO Naomi Frauenfelder said that through the delivery of webinars and the new toolbox talk series, the foundation hopes to reach and support people at all levels of the sector through practical, bite-sized pieces of information and resources.
“During national Mental Health Month, I encourage anyone in the industry who is looking to understand where to turn for organisational or personal support, to visit our website,” she said.
“There you will find information and resources, the Roadmap [free to download here] and gain access to HHTS membership.
