WA-based bus and transport hire company Northfleet has announced the acquisition of crane and transport hire business Kwik Logistics less than two weeks after it went into voluntary administration.
Though Northfleet predominantly focuses on passenger transport hire, its truck offering includes light and medium-duty Isuzu and Hino rigids. Though Mack and Mercedes-Benz prime movers have also come into the mix more recently.
The acquisition of Kwik Logistics will add crane trucks, as well as a further 30 prime movers and over 70 trailers including flat tops, tilt trays, low loaders and semi tilt trays.
Northfleet confirmed the news via social media which said, “Very exciting times for Northfleet Transport which has successfully acquired Kwik Logistics.”
Northfleet has depots in Perth (Osborne Park), Karratha, Port Hedland, Newman and Kalgoorlie; while Kwik Logistics’ depots are in Two Rocks, High Wycombe and Rockingham.
