Transport for NSW’s freight division has issued an update on its freight-friendly Covid testing sites for the holiday period.

The biggest change is the permanent closure of the Moree Plains Council site at 3 Blueberry Road, off Newell Highway, behind the Puma servo from midday on December 23.

“We remind freight workers that the Transport for NSW run Covid-19 testing sites at Ballina, Narrandera, Taree, Tarcutta, Marulan and Yass are still in operation,” the noticed added.

“A map of all current testing sites can be found on our webpage. NSW Health community testing sites also continue to be available and can be found on the NSW Government webpage.  There are also a number of interstate testing sites which can be found on the NHVR COVID testing map.”

TfNSW, however, reminded operators that testing sites at Ballina, Narrandera, Taree, Tarcutta, Marulan and Yass will be closed from 9pm, December 24, to 7am, December 27, and from 3pm Friday 31 December 31, to 8am, January 2, 2022.

“Please make alternative arrangements to be tested during this time or plan ahead to alter your testing routine.

“We apologise for any inconvenience during this time and we wish you a safe holiday period and a Merry Christmas.”
