In response to the significant drop in testing numbers and increased difficulties in staffing, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) advises today that it has begun winding back operations at the freight-friendly Covid testing site in Taree.
From January 24-30, assisted testing by pathology will continue to operate from 7am to 11pm, but will be unavailable between 11pm and 7am.
From January 31, assisted testing by pathology will continue to operate from 7am to 12pm, until the site is permanently closed on February 1.
TfNSW said it is also winding back opening hours at its Ballina site for similar reasons.
From January 24, assisted testing by pathology will continue to operate from 7am to 11pm, 7 days a week but will be unavailable between 11pm and 7am.
