Truckload of RATs spill onto road in truck rollover

Thousands of rapid antigen tests (RATs) have been salvaged after spilling onto the side of the road in a truck rollover in Sydney.

The crash occurred on the M7 Motorway in Horsley Park yesterday and the driver was lucky to walk away from the crash uninjured.

The incident occurred when the truck toppled over the safety barrier as the driver negotiated the Wallgrove Road southbound offramp just after 2pm.

Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) were called to assist with a suspected diesel spill which was quickly managed by firefighters.

The truck was pulled upright and the load and FRNSW crews remained on the scene to assist the NSW Rural Fire Service to collect the cargo.

The road was closed briefly while the truck was salvaged and the RATs were collected and reboxed, ready for inspection.
