Lane closures for truckies at Yatala South Interchange

The M1 Pacific Motorway through lanes at the Yatala South interchange (Exit 41) will be closed to all traffic from Sunday, June 12 to Thursday, June 16, advises the Department of Transport and Main Roads.

The closure is to allow for the installation of overpass bridge girders.

Detour during the closure

All OSOM vehicles will need to exit the motorway at the Exit 41 off-ramps, travel through the interchange and enter the motorway again via the Exit 41 on-ramps.

Lane closures

Each evening from 7pm, the two northbound lanes and two southbound lanes of the M1 closest to the centre median will be closed.

From 9pm, Sunday, June 12 and Monday, June 13, all four northbound lanes will be closed.

The southbound side of the M1 will be reduced to one lane for light and standard heavy vehicle use only.

From 9pm Wednesday, June 15 and Thursday, June 16 all four southbound lanes will be closed. The northbound side of the M1 will be reduced to one lane for light and standard heavy vehicle use only.

The M1 will be fully reopened and operational at 4am each morning.

Class 1 oversize vehicles exceeding 4m wide, 4.6m high or 26m long are not permitted to use the northbound and southbound detour routes outlined above.
