While the immediate future of the Outback Truckers series may be uncertain, there is a TV light on the horizon for one of its star attractions.
Western Australian production company Prospero Productions has announced it is in production on a brand new documentary series for Channel 7 and Discovery, Outback Farm, which is set to continue the adventures of the water drilling Haigh family from Outback Truckers.
Set to hit our screens next year, Outback Farm follows Danyelle and Anthony and their two kids, Theo and Heath, who are about to embark on their greatest outback adventure yet.
“In the harsh desert wilderness of the Northern Territory, the Haigh family is risking it all,” said the media statement anouncing the show.
“They’ve moved thousands of kilometres from their support network of friends and family in Queensland, to buy a $7 million farm in the dead heart of Australia, 200km from Alice Springs.”
Danyelle announced the news of the show to her Facebook fans earlier today.
“Everyone always said we should have our own TV show well you’re hearing it here first….. IT’S TRUE!!! OMGEEEEE!!!,” she wrote.
“We are currently filming our first season of OUTBACK FARM, to hit your TV screens around the world 2023!!!
“Real life, real people & real drama!!”
