NatRoad has issued an update this morning on roads in regional NSW that have been impacted by flooding. Here’s the latest.
The Kamilaroi Highway had been closed between Quia Road and Laidlaw Street due to flooding but has now reopened in both directions between Gunnedah and Boggabri.
From Narrabri to Merah North, the Kamilaroi Highway remains closed between Spring Plains Road and Doreen Lane.
In the Central West, Lachlan Valley has reopened in both directions between Forbes and Gooloogong.
Motorists should allow plenty of extra travel time and are reminded never to drive through floodwaters.
In addition to state managed roads, some local roads managed by councils may also be affected.
For information about local council roads, use the “council supplied information” tab on livetraffic.com or check with local councils.
