Diversion for light vehicles and B-doubles, Coonabarabran to Tamworth via Gunnedah, then New England Highway to Queensland.
For B-triples and road trains diversion is Gilgandra to Walget to Queensland, via the Castlereagh Highway.
Some residents of Narrabri have been told by NSW SES to start preparing their properties and lifting, with crews out shortly door-knocking in the affected areas.
Sandbags are being made and will be available shortly.
