Police locate stolen tipper and bobcat

Victoria Police’s Viper taskforce has recovered a tipper and bobcat at a Glen Iris property.

Officers had charged and remanded a 43-year-old Glen Iris man after attending an address under a Firearm Prohibition Order. While attending the property to ensure there were no firearms there, Viper taskforce members came across the allegedly stolen tipper and bobcat, believed to be valued at over $150,000.

Officers also allegedly located a vial of anabolic steroids and a credit card believed to be unlawfully in the possession of the man, who was arrested at the address.

He has been charged with theft of motor car, handle stolen goods, possess drug of dependence, unlawful possession and other charges.
