Once again visitors are making a beeline to the PACCAR stand at this year’s Brisbane Truck Show, but it’s not all one-way traffic to the shiny new Kenworths on display.
Not to be outdone by its Kenworth cousin, DAF has a showstopper of its own this year in the form of the brand new XG+ 660, the biggest design project in DAF Trucks Australia’s history.
Due to launch here in 2024, the XG+ 660 has been customised for conditions Down Under including an Australian-exclusive 15-litre 660hp engine.
We asked PACCAR’s chief engineer Brad May for a closer look at what truckies can expect to see out on our roads next year.
To check out the new DAF up close, visit stand 40, hall 4 at the Brisbane Truck Show (May 18-21).
