The intersection of Coolgardie-Esperance Hwy and Goldfields Hwy has been closed in both directions, following a serious crash just after 5am this morning.
A road train and smaller truck were involved in the incident, with reports that one of the drivers has been seriously injured.

Update:
The 33-year-old male driver of the Hino truck sustained critical injuries in the crash and died at the scene. The 47-year-old male driver of the road train was not injured.
