Daimler Truck Australia has issued recall notices for 1114 trucks across the Fuso Fighter and Shogun ranges, manufactured between 2019 to 2022.
The trucks being recalled due to the tool to mechanically open the spring-loaded parking brake chamber not being supplied with the vehicle.
However, “The missing tool is not a safety issue and will not affect the performance of vehicles,” Daimler said.
Customers will be contacted in writing by Daimler Truck advising them to contact their nearest authorised Daimler Truck Dealership who will supply the missing spanner, free of charge.
A list of VIN numbers for those trucks impacted by the recall can be found here.
