Truck and dog becomes mobile billboard for Brisbane Convoy for Kids

A Queensland operator has donated the use of one of their truck and dogs to promote the upcoming Brisbane Convoy for Kids, with the eye-catching artwork unveiled at the weekend.

Karreman Group organised the artwork, which now features on one of its vehicles, unveiling it at their quarry on Saturday July 29.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids president Jason Prince visited Karreman Group’s Brisbane facility for the unveiling of the Brisbane Convoy for Kids “Billboard Truck”.

This brand new truck was supplied by Karreman, and along with VCV, Hercules and Fleetmark was designed and wrapped to promote the Brisbane Convoy for Kids annual convoy, truck show and family fun day.

“We would like to thank all involved in getting this brilliant truck on the road,” said Prince. “And we can’t wait to see it around the Brisbane area promoting us and our event. It’s wonderful that companies such as Karreman’s are supporting us to make life easier for children living with life limiting illnesses.

The 2023 Brisbane Convoy for Kids will be held on Saturday November 4, 2023.

The convoy will run from Larapinta to the Redcliffe Showgrounds where visitors will be treated to a truck show, rides, fireworks, stalls, auctions and live entertainment.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids has once again selected Hummingbird House Foundation to be its 2023 fundraising beneficiary, for the ninth year running. Hummingbird House provides short break stays, family support services, creative therapies, and care at the end of life, for children with life-limiting conditions and their families.

Hummingbird House is Queensland’s only children’s hospice.

Registrations are now open for the convoy and truck show. For more information, please click here.
