Beginning today in Toowoomba and running through to January, the 2023 Hino roadshow will place a particular focus on rural and regional locations as it makes its 130,000-kilometre journey across the country.
The 2023 leg will travel as far north as Mackay, as far south as Mt Gambier and will cross the Nullarbor to Perth, before eventually finishing in Canberra at the beginning of 2024.
“In 2022, we were proud to bring our range of next-generation vehicles to over 500 customers as the roadshow travelled to various locations in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and New South Wales,” said Richard Emery, vice president of brand and franchise development for Hino Australia.
He added that it was important for Hino’s rural and regional customers to be given the same opportunity to engage with and drive the trucks.
Dealers will be able to handpick the most appropriate trucks for their markets from Hino’s range of light, medium and heavy-duty on and off-road trucks, which will be used for static displays along with personalised drive opportunities.
Hino says a key focus of the roadshow in all locations will be the heavy-duty 700 Series, which meets Euro 6 exhaust emission standards and is being touted as the company’s safest truck to date.
“With over 80 years of global experience in design and innovation, the roadshow is an opportunity for Hino to demonstrate our complete line-up of next-generation transport solutions and customer-focused support to our customers,” added Emery.
