Ofload partners with United Petroleum

Digital logistics platform Ofload has partnered with United Petroleum to provide carriers in its network with fuel savings.

The fuel card partnership with United will provide carriers with access to Terminal Gate Pricing (TGP), regardless of their fleet size.

Truck companies that take advantage of the deal can fill up at around 500 United Petroleum and Astron fuel stations around the country, and can check the United Petroleum website for daily Terminal Gate Pricing.

Savings like this are generally only available to large companies but the co-branded Ofload United Fuel card allows carriers to access these savings no matter how big their fleet is.

Owner operator Rod Hull of Hully’s Haulage, said, “We’ve been working with Ofload for two years and have grown substantially through that time with their support. This latest offer from Ofload is yet another winner for a small family business like ours.”

According to Ofload’s internal modelling, carriers taking advantage of the deal could save as much as $15,300 on fuel per truck per year when compared with average diesel costs. For a standard fleet with ten trucks, it says carriers could save as much as $153,000 annually.

Commenting on the United Petroleum partnership, Geoffroy Henry, founder and CEO of Ofload, said, “We place significant emphasis on doing what we can to support Ofload carriers. In today’s challenging logistics environment, against the backdrop of a slowdown in the movement of goods, and with fuel making up the single biggest cost for all companies in the space, this type of saving can make a big difference. Especially for small and medium sized companies.”

Martin Cislo, general manager at United Card of United Petroleum added, “This is an important partnership for United Petroleum as we strive to assist all our customers including trucking businesses to reduce their fuel costs. With our Australian wide network, competitive diesel pricing and 24-hour customer service, we hope this will make a big difference for Ofload carriers across the country.”

The fuel savings are exclusively available to carriers on the Ofload platform becoming United customers for the first time. Carriers who are not yet on the Ofload platform can sign up to Ofload for free on the Ofload website and apply to receive this offer as soon as their account is activated.
