In what the company says is an Australian first design, Linfox’s new 36-metre A-double, capable of carrying two 48-ft containers, has been put to work.
Linfox says the A-double and Volvo truck set-up is the result of a 12-month design and build project.
It completed its first round-trip between Melbourne and Sydney last week.
According to Linfox, “The new configuration allows us to transport more palletised stock for our customers, providing us more opportunities and options to support our communities during unexpected road and rail outages.”
