A truck driver has been killed in a rollover on the Burnett Highway in the early hours of Thursday, August 31.
Queensland Police say the the semi-trailer was travelling near the intersection of the highway and Kilcoy Murgon Rd at Barambah when it crashed into a ditch sometime before 2am.
A Queensland Police spokesman confirmed the male driver died before emergency services were able to reach him.
A full load of farm produce, mostly cartons of pumpkins, could be seen strewn alongside the highway, say reports.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the crash and confirm the driver’s identity.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses or anyone with relevant footage from that vicinity overnight.
