Delays ahead for truckies on Hume Highway at Marulan

marulan

Truckies should allow for some delays on the Hume Highway at Marulan from Monday, October 16 to Friday, November 3.

A contraflow will be in place 24 hours a day in the area to facilitate concrete pavement slab replacement, advised Transport for NSW.

During contraflow, southbound traffic will be diverted onto the northbound lanes with a single lane in each direction.

A reduced speed limit of 60km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and motorists. All motorists should allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time.

During the work, OSOM vehicles wider than 4.5m will be required to use the designated pullover areas and contact the project team on 0427 406 318 to arrange access through the work area.

OSOM pullover locations are as follows:
Southbound – Hume Motorway just south of the Sutton Forest East Service Centre
Northbound – Hume Highway just north of Tiyces Lane at Carrick.

All heavy vehicle operators are advised that the Marulan southbound HVSS weighbridge will temporarily be closed during this time.

All heavy vehicles are advised to remain on the highway during this period.
