Cummins Scholarship winners for 2023 revealed

The Australian Trucking Association (ATA) and Cummins South Pacific are proud to announce the 2023 Cummins Scholarship winners.

These three young techs will have the opportunity to attend the 2023 Technology and Maintenance Conference in Melbourne from October 16-18 where they will build their knowledge of the industry and develop their skills.

The winners are:

Blake Kehoe – Denrith Pty Ltd

Blake’s passion for the transport industry led him to secure a School Based Mechanical Apprenticeship in 2019. He is now completing his Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology apprenticeship, with plans to pursue a Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology.

Joshua Will – Tatiara Truck & Trailers

After two years as a school-based Apprentice and transitioning to full-time as an Apprentice in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology, Joshua is now eager to advance his career to become a VET trainer.

William Deery – Border Crane Consultants

Starting his trade at just 15, Will quickly learned to be independent and adapted to formal training through an RTO, excelling at TAFE with top scores in attitude, knowledge, and skills.

The conference program at the Kangan Institute ACE, Docklands, features a range of practical workshops, business sessions, expos and social networking events.
