Seven new Volvos join the Exodas fleet

Exodas has taken its biggest delivery of Volvo trucks to date, with seven new Volvos ranging from an FM11 and FH13 to FH16 600 XXL Globetrotters.

Started by Brett Tynan in 2001 with two trucks, the Queensland-based transport company now runs a fleet of around 100 trucks and 30 rigids, alongside a large trailer fleet.

Exodas’ operations are largely centred around the east coast, with depots on the NSW Central Coast, Yatala, Townsville, Bowen, Tully and Mareeba, with much of its work being time-sensitive freight.

The new Volvos will handle duties from local distribution through to multi-trailer linehaul.

“Obviously we love the product,” said Tynan. However, it’s the back-up and the people we deal with from Volvo on a daily basis that gets us over the line every time.

“All our Volvo Group trucks are covered by gold service agreements which give us a lot more peace of mind when it comes to servicing, back up and costing.”

Greg Sargeant, dealer principal at Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia, added, “Trust is vital in any partnership, and it’s great to see Exodas’ continued success and growth.

“We’re proud to have the Exodas team as part of the Volvo family, and we look forward to supporting them for many more years to come.”
