There is just one week to go before the application deadline for Transport Women Australia Limited’s 2023 Driving the Difference scholarships.
Now in its fifth year, the Driving the Difference scholarship program provides a unique opportunity for women in the transport and logistics industry and those interested in entering the field.
Backed by Daimler Truck Australia Pacific, the scholarships enable the successful applicants to undertake any course or training that will advance their careers or expand their knowledge in their current position.
Alternatively, it gives women who have never worked in transport or logistics before a gateway into the industry.
Applications will be accepted until 5pm AEDT October 31 and winners will be announced on November 16.
TWAL chair Jacquelene Brotherton said: “TWAL are excited to partner once again with Daimler Truck Australia Pacific to present the Driving the Difference scholarships for another year.
“These scholarships have enhanced participation of women in the transport and logistics industry and will continue to do so. Previous winners have been from the trucking, rail, and marine sectors, so have assisted a diverse group of women.”
