A truck driver has lost his licence and will appear in court after allegedly travelling over double white lines on the east coast of the Spencer Gulf in South Australia.
About 5.20pm on September 18, a road train travelling south on Augusta Highway, near Mambray Creek, was overtaken by a second road train after the driver crossed over double white lines, alleges SA Police.
An oncoming car was reportedly forced to change lanes to avoid a collision.
Following an investigation, a 35-year-old man from Adelaide was reported for driving in a manner dangerous and was issued with an instant loss of licence for 12 months.
He will be summonsed to appear in Port Pirie Magistrates Court at a later date.
