With season 10 of Outback Truckers currently in production, producers are on the hunt for truckies to feature in the hit television show.
The new season has been a long time coming. Produced by Prospero Productions, the last season aired in 2021 – with the future of the show remaining uncertain for a long time.
But that all changed in October last year, when season 10 was finally given the green light.
Distributed by Abacus Media Rights, Outback Truckers’ had its worldwide premiere on 7mate in 2012 and it has since aired in over 120 countries, including the UK and Europe on the Discovery Channel.
When Discovery pulled out of the deal, Prospero worked tirelessly to find a replacement, with 7mate coming to the rescue.
Filming began late year, with season 10 to feature a total of 13 one-hour long episodes.
The season is tipped to feature several show favourites along with new talent. Producers today released a call-out for truckies who are “going bush or hitting some hardcore tracks.”
