The National Road Freighters Association (NRFA) will be holding their annual conference on Saturday February 10, 2024.
The event will take place at The Woolshed @ Emerald Bank in Shepparton, VIC from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
The theme of the conference this year is “Reforming our Industry”.
Three panels will take place over the course of the day, with the first two sessions discussing the Closing the Loopholes Bill.
The first panel will be made up of industry representatives from TWU, ARTIO, VTA, NatRoad, QTA, WRF, TTA and the NRFA.
The second panel will include Senator Glenn Sterle, Senator Pauline Hanson, Sam Birrell MP, Senator Tony Sheldon and Senator Bridget McKenzie.
The third session of the day will be to discuss the HVNL2 Review, with panellists from the NTC, NHVR, CILT and NRFA.
There will also be a number of key industry guest speakers on the day.
After the conference, attendees are encouraged to head to the nearby Museum of Vehicle Evolution for drinks and a look around from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
There will then be a dinner at The Woolshed from 6.30pm to 10pm, which will present an opportunity for networking and socialising.
