Truckies planning on driving through the roundabout at the intersection of the Bruxner Highway and Elliott Road in South Lismore later next week could experience delays due to resurfacing work.

Heavy vehicles will be allowed through the roundabout between 7pm and 11pm on Thursday, February 8, and again between 4am and 6am the next day, but could experience delays of between 15 and 30 minutes, warns Transport for NSW (TfNSW).

Between 11pm and 4am, while asphalt is being laid and curing, it is unlikely heavy vehicles will be able to pass through the site at all.

B-double operators who need to access the Lismore CBD during these hours will need to use the Bruxner Highway from Ballina.
