There will be changed traffic conditions in place from tonight on the Warringah Freeway, with multiple closures and related detours in place as widening works continue.
Transport for NSW advises traffic changes are planned to take effect from 10pm Friday February 2 to 4:30am Monday February 5, 2024.
The closures/detours will allow crews to continue with works to widen the freeway, the construction of the new Mount Street underpass, and construction of the new southbound bus lane from Falcon Street to the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
A continuous closure from 10pm Friday to 4.30am Monday will be in place for:
- Left-turn access from Mount Street to Alfred Street North
- Berry Street northbound on ramp to Warringah Freeway. Alternative access via Falcon Street on-ramp (tolled) or Pacific Highway (untolled).
Traffic changes also include night closures of:
- Warringah Freeway southbound outer lanes between Mount Street and High Street. Access maintained to Sydney CBD via freeway inner lanes.
