Truckies have hit out at the state of the facilities at BP Murrurundi in NSW, with one driver sharing some shocking photos.
An anonymous truckie took to the Facebook group ‘Truck drivers food, showers and reviews Australia wide” to post images showing the filthy floor, urinals and doors in the toilets.
A fly strip covered with dead flies can be seen hanging from one door, with what looks like mould around another door handle.
A dirty toilet brush can also be seen out of its holder, lying on the floor.
The truckie said the “photos don’t do proper justice” to just how dirty the facilities were when he visited BP Murrurundi last week, describing them as “stinking” and “fly-blown”.
He said he made a complaint to staff at the service station but didn’t appear to be taken seriously.
“Yesterday I told the man behind the counter that the toilets need attention,” he said.
“He ignored me. I said ‘Hey mate, are you taking this in?’
“He said ‘Yes.’ Just no regard or care.”

A spokesperson for BP told Big Rigs that they are working closely with their dealer partner at BP Murrurundi to “address this issue and prevent it from reoccurring”.
