A small number of BP service stations will be closed for business between 2.30am and 4.30am on the morning of Thursday May 2 due to system upgrades.
Customers will not be able to purchase fuel or shop items at BP Ballina Travel Centre, BP Chinderah Bypass or BP Coomera North during these times.
However, truckies will have access to the truck stop facilities should they need to use them.
A spokesperson for BP told Big Rigs: “We regularly update our systems to ensure we can continue to provide customers with their end-to-end mobility needs.
“Currently, we’re undertaking staggered system upgrades across BP sites.
“These upgrades are planned to occur during off-peak hours in the early morning.”
Despite one BP service station putting up a notice informing customers that “all BP sites” will be unable to trade between 2.30am and 4.30am tomorrow morning, BP said this is not the case.
“As these are staggered updates, all our other locations will still be trading between 2.30am and 4.30am on May 2nd,” the spokesperson clarified.
“For instance, Stapylton, Logan Motorway, Caboolture North/South are not impacted.”
