The Newell Highway is currently closed in both directions north of Forbes due to a serious crash between a truck and a car near Ashburnham Road
Live Traffic NSW reports that persons are trapped, and emergency services are attending the scene.
Diversions are in place via The Escort Way, Parkes Eugowra Road, Eugowra Road in each direction, suitable for all vehicles.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time for their journey.
