Motorists and truck drivers are advised of changed traffic conditions from next week on Five Islands Road at Port Kembla and Shellharbour Road at Warilla for the installation of new red light speed cameras.
The cameras will be installed at the intersection of Five Islands Road and Flinders Street and the intersection of Shellharbour Road and George Street at Warilla.
Work will be carried out at night from Monday, July 15 for two weeks between 8pm and 5am, Sunday to Thursday nights, weather permitting.
Single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will be in place for the safety of workers and road users.
Access will be maintained for businesses and residents during the work, said Transport for NSW (TfNSW).
“Motorists and truck drivers are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control,” the TfNSW notice added.
