Appeal for information after road train driver injured in crash

Police and emergency services were called to Port Wakefield Highway, Waterloo Corner, in the early hours of this morning after reports a car had collied with a road train.

The crash occurred just before 1.15am this morning (Friday July 26).

South Australia Police said the driver of the road train was injured, however details about these injuries have not been revealed.

The driver of the Hyundai hatchback involved in the incident, a 33-year-old woman from Salisbury North, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Investigations are underway into the cause of the crash, with police appealing for any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000.
