The National Road Transport Association has announced its line-up of speakers for this year’s NatRoad Connect 24 conference, promising an event “packed with insightful discussion and practical advice” for attendees.
Leading the conference is Professor Richard Hopkins, with over 25 years of experience in Formula One.
Now based in Australia, Richard is spearheading HEVN Automotive, a venture focused on building climate-zero production cars with F1 technology. His role as Head of Operations for the Red Bull Formula One Team brought the team to World Championship success.
With a 30-year legal career in transport and logistics, Gillian Bristow will provide practical tips on owner-driver issues and tax. Gillian has been a speaker at NatRoad conferences for the past decade.
Paul Salvati, Chief Operations Officer at the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator (NHVR) since 2019, will lead practical sessions on regulatory updates and compliance strategies.
In addition, Jo Haylen MP, NSW Minister for Transport, and WA Senator Glenn Sterle will offer insights into current and future industry landscapes and government initiatives impacting the sector.
The conference will also feature presentations and workshops from a range of industry experts, including:
- Shannon Kyle from Teletrac Navman
- Melissa Weller from Healthy Heads, Trucks, and Sheds
- Natalia Corchado from the International Road Transport Union (IRU)
NatRoad CEO Warren Clark said: “We’re very excited to bring this accomplished line-up of speakers to NatRoad Connect 24. Each of our speakers is a leader in their field. I have no doubt their practical and positive insights will enhance the operational capabilities of our members and conference attendees.
