Clarendon Classic Machinery Rally

Held at the Hawkesbury Showgrounds on Racecourse Road in Clarendon over two days, this event offers something for everyone. Check out some classic rigs at the Kenworth Klassic Truck Show, hop on an old double decker bus to Richmond Station, or explore the displays of vintage machinery, including stationery engines, tractors, steam engines, models and more. Entry for the general public is from 9am to 4pm Saturday, and 8am to 3pm Sunday. Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. Exhibitors enjoy free admission, complimentary camping, a welcome BBQ on Friday night for a gold coin donation, and a two-course rally dinner on the Saturday evening.

Wauchope Yesteryear Truck & Machinery Show 2024

Traditionally held in July, this year’s Wauchope Yesteryear Truck & Machinery Show has been moved to October – with plans for a bigger and better event. Vintage and modern trucks and tractors will be on display, with a tractor run on October 4 and a drive through Wauchope with a limited number of trucks and tractors on October 4 and 5. Unlike previous years, there will not be a Saturday night dinner, but the organising committee plan to have additional food outlets and a bar in operation to cater for the Saturday night meal.

Lights on the Hill is an opportunity for the transport industry to gather and remember truckies who have lost their lives. Two convoys, one starting in Brisbane and one in Toowoomba, will converge at Gatton Showgrounds for a day of entertainment and socialising on the Saturday. Then on the Sunday, a memorial ceremony will take place at Lake Apex Park.

The Pioneer Timber Cutters Club are hosting a Show and Shine at Luddenham Showgrounds, with four trophies up for grabs: People’s Choice under 4.5gvm, Entrants’ Choice under 4.5gvm, People’s Choice over 4.5gvm and Entrants’ Choice over 4.5gvm. The show is open to trucks, cars, bikes and tractors, at just $5 per vehicle. Entry is $5 per adult, and free for kids under 16. All proceeds go to the Leukemia Foundation, Black Dog, and Motor Neuron Disease. Other entertainment on the day will include a chainsaw race display at 11am, a jumping castle for kids, and a sausage sizzle. Gates open at 7.30am for exhibitors, 8am for the public.

The Callington A&H Society has introduced a truck show element to the annual Callington Show, with cash, prizes and rosettes up for grabs across six categories. Trucks must be at the grounds between 6am and 7am for parking around the outside of the back oval. Entries will be capped at 15 per class by September 15.

The annual Goulburn Convoy for Kids and carnival day will take place on November 9 this year, with vehicles departing at 10am sharp from Goulburn Gateway service station (North Goulburn) and ending up at Goulburn Racetrack (Braidwood Road). Truck entry is $60, which includes a showbag for each truck. This year, cars and utes are also welcome to join the convoy. Entry for cars/utes is $60 with a showbag or $20 without.

Tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, the southern hemisphere’s largest festival of all things trucking. Building on the success of past shows, all exhibition space is already sold out, guaranteeing attendees over 30,000 square metres of exhibitions of the latest trucks, trailers, technologies, and parts and accessories available on the Australian market.
The 2025 show from May 15-18 will be a critical component of Truck Week, a week-long festival incorporating an array of activations in nearby South Bank Parklands, including the Premier Boxing Series, Australia’s Best Show N Shine, and The Depot careers and entertainment hub – plus the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show at RNA Showgrounds and the Heritage Truck Show at Rocklea.
