Save the date for these great truck shows in 2024 and 2025

There are so many great truck shows coming up at the end of this year and into 2025. Save the date for these highlights!

Twin City Truck Centre Show and Shine
October 19, 2024
Wodonga, VIC 

Twin City Truck Centre Wodonga is hosting its first ever Show and Shine, featuring over 70 impressive trucks. This exciting event is scheduled for October 19, 2024 at 255 McKoy Street, Wodonga and will run from 10am to 2pm. Join them for an exciting day of trucks, kids’ entertainment, live music, food and drink, guided tours, exhibitors and a pallet sale. Plus you can check out a car display featuring the original Batmobile and Mad Max car!  

TTA Tasmanian Transport Industry Gala dinner and Awards Night

Paranaple Centre, Devonport, TAS

The TTA will host the 2024 Tasmanian Transport Industry Gala Dinner and Awards Night at the Paranaple Centre in Devonport on Saturday October 19. Join them for the Tasmanian Transport Industry’s night of nights, with food, drinks, awards, entertainment and plenty of networking opportunities.  

In the lead up to the TTA Gala Dinner and Awards Night, the Livestock Transporters Association of Tasmania (LTAT) will host the LTAT State Conference. Beginning with a welcome function and industry auction at 6pm on Friday October 18 at Market Pavilion, the conference will be held on Saturday October 19.  Join the LTAT team, along with members of the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA) National Council for an informative conference kicking off with the NTI Breakfast at 8.30am. 

Urana Vintage Rally & Truck Show
October 19-20, 2024 
Urana, NSW 

Head on over to Victoria Park in Urana for the annual Vintage Rally & Truck Show. There’s something for everyone at this event, from vintage engines and tractors to trucks of all shapes and sizes, plus a hospital fete with coffee, ice-cream and more. Beaudesert Heritage Truck Show
October 19-20, 2024 
Beaudesert Showground, Queensland 

The Heritage Truck Association of Australia is proud to host the 2024 Beaudesert Heritage Truck Show, featuring a wide display of heritage trucks, tractors and cars, as well as trade stalls. On-site camping is available for exhibitors and stall holders. Tickets are $10 for adults, with free entry for children under 14. Opening hours are 10am to 4pm on Saturday October 19, and 9am to 2.30pm on Sunday October 20. Arrival and set up is available from 1pm on Friday October 18. Ross Transport 2024 Open Day
October 20, 2024 
Ross Transport Depot, Port Kembla, NSW

Ross Transport is holding its first ever open day to raise funds for its lead truck bid for the upcoming Illawarra Convoy. The fun will include face painters, a balloon twister, Spiderman and other characters, Little Big Rigs Sydney, and a BBQ. Get up close to some of Ross Transport’s most famous trucks, including Truely Frantastic and Bluey, and learn from a safety demonstration about blind spot awareness. 

Technical and Maintenance Conference
October 21-23
Docklands, Melbourne

The Australian Trucking Association’s annual Technical and Maintenance Conference is back. As the trucking industry’s premier national gathering of technical professionals, fleet and workshop managers, technical regulators, mechanics and service technicians, TMC is your chance to stay up to date, avoid breakdowns, and potentially save thousands of dollars through better maintenance and purchasing.

Deniliquin Truck Show & Industry Expo

Held at the Deniliquin Festival site (home of the Deni Ute Muster) on Conargo Road, the Deniliquin Truck Show features a large display of trucks, trade displays and fun for all the family. Sydney Convoy for Kids
October 27, 2024 
Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon, NSW

The Sydney Convoy for Kids is fast approaching. This year, hundreds of trucks will depart from Sydney Dragway, heading to the Hawkesbury Showground for a family fun day. Attendees can look forward to food and drink, a raffle, a massive auction and more. Proceeds from the day will go towards NETS Ambulance Service and Kidzfix. Pioneers’ Show and Shine
October 27, 2024 
Luddenham Showgrounds, NSW

The Pioneer Timber Cutters Club are hosting a Show and Shine at Luddenham Showgrounds, with four trophies up for grabs: People’s Choice under 4.5gvm, Entrants’ Choice under 4.5gvm, People’s Choice over 4.5gvm and Entrants’ Choice over 4.5gvm. The show is open to trucks, cars, bikes and tractors, at just $5 per vehicle. Entry is $5 per adult, and free for kids under 16. All proceeds go to the Leukemia Foundation, Black Dog, and Motor Neuron Disease. Other entertainment on the day will include a chainsaw race display at 11am, a jumping castle for kids, and a sausage sizzle. Gates open at 7.30am for exhibitors, 8am for the public.  

Callington Truck Show

The Callington A&H Society has introduced a truck show element to the annual Callington Show, with cash, prizes and rosettes up for grabs across six categories. Trucks must be at the grounds between 6am and 7am for parking around the outside of the back oval. 

NOVEMBER

Horsham Truck Show
November 2, 2024
Horsham, VIC

This year’s Horsham Truck Show promises a great weekend, with a large display of rigs from all around Australia, live music from Allan Webster, Don Costa and the Austins, a kids’ corner, food trucks, trade stalls and more. Proceeds will be donated to Wimmera Against Cancer in Kids (WACK). Truck entry is $50, general admission $10, students aged 16 and under $5.

Brisbane Convoy for Kids
November 2, 2024
Brisbane, QLD

The Brisbane Convoy for Kids is back, with a parade of trucks making the trip from Larapinta to the Redcliffe Showgrounds – all for a very good cause. After the convoy, the rigs will line up for a truck show, with multiple trophies up for grabs. Attendees can also expect plenty of family fun, with entertainment for young and old.

Ulverstone Truck and Car Show

Goulburn Convoy for Kids
November 9, 2024
Goulburn, NSW

The annual Goulburn Convoy for Kids and carnival day will take place on November 9 this year, with vehicles departing at 10am sharp from Goulburn Gateway service station (North Goulburn) and ending up at Goulburn Racetrack (Braidwood Road). Truck entry is $60, which includes a showbag for each truck. This year, cars and utes are also welcome to join the convoy. Entry for cars/utes is $60 with a showbag or $20 without.

Historic Commercial Vehicle Club Display Day
November 10, 2024 
Yarra Glen, VIC

Fans of retro rigs are in for a treat at the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club Display Day. Attendees can check out rows of vintage trucks and cars, while there’s also plenty to keep the kids busy, from face painting to a petting zoo. Public admission $10, children under 14 free, camping $20. BBQ and pizza on Saturday night – BYO drinks. Entry from 3pm on Saturday August 9. All vehicles must be in by 9.30am on Sunday.  

Dane Ballinger Memorial Truck Show

The Dane Ballinger Memorial Truck Show is back this year, with plenty to see and do for the whole family – including over 200 market stalls, food stalls, entertainment and kids’ rides.

Fundraiser for Our House Our Haven
November 16, 2024
Rudd’s Pub, Nobby, QLD

Next month, in the Queensland town of Nobby, the local trucking community will come together for a special event, raising money for mental health charity Our House Our Haven. Organised by the West Brook Truck Drivers Association, together with Rudds Pub, there will great food, raffles, auctions, live entertainment and more. There is a $10 entry fee to the event, which includes a steak burger or sausage, and entry for the “lucky door prize” draw, with the prize being a $500 debit card. Among the highlights of the day will also be a beard shave-off. 

She Won’t Be Right Mate – Car & Bike Show
November 23
Yarra Glen Racecource, VIC 

This year’s ‘She Won’t Be Right Mate’ mental health fundraiser brings the community together for a great day out. Raising money for Eastern Health Hospital’s mental health department, the event features a car and bike show, live music, food trucks, free kids’ activities, a raffle, racing simulators and much more. Mount Gambier Family Truck Show

Mount Gambier Showgrounds, SA  

The Mount Gambier Family Truck Show is back, kicking off with a convoy from Penola to Mount Gambier, with more than 80 prime movers expected to take part. Back at the Mount Gambier Showgrounds, attendees can enjoy a gold coin entry family fun day from 10.30am to 3.30pm, raising funds for the less fortunate within the community.    

JANUARY 2025

Geelong Classic Truck and Machinery Show
January 11-12, 2025 
Geelong Showgrounds  

The Geelong Classic is back, featuring trucks, classic cars and bikes, vintage tractors and steam engines. Various clubs will also be in attendance, from Lego Club to Model Clubs. Entry for adults is $15, kids under 15 and exhibitors go free. 

Koroit Truck Show
January 25, 2025
Victoria Park, Koroit

Koroit comes alive at its annual truck show with a large truck display, motorcycle performance, state wood chopping competition, live music, market stalls and more. Don’t miss the popular truckie sprint and the tug of war!

FEBRUARY 2025

Lardner Park Heritage Vehicle Display
February 1-2, 2025
Lardner Park, VIC 

The dates have already been set for next year’s Lardner Park Heritage Vehicle Display. Historic, classic and veteran vehicles (25 years and older) are welcome, from trucks and cars to tractors, motorbikes, caravans and more. Public gates open Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 9.30am to 2pm. MAY 2025

Brisbane Truck Show
May 15-18, 2025
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, QLD

Tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, the southern hemisphere’s largest festival of all things trucking. Building on the success of past shows, all exhibition space is already sold out, guaranteeing attendees over 30,000 square metres of exhibitions of the latest trucks, trailers, technologies, and parts and accessories available on the Australian market.

The 2025 show from May 15-18 will be a critical component of Truck Week, a week-long festival incorporating an array of activations in nearby South Bank Parklands, including the Premier Boxing Series, Australia’s Best Show N Shine, and The Depot careers and entertainment hub – plus the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show at RNA Showgrounds and the Heritage Truck Show at Rocklea.

Scenic Rim Truck Show 2025

Get excited for the Scenic Rim Truck Show! Held from 10am to 6pm, the show will feature plenty of trucks along with market stalls, rides, entertainment, raffles and a live auction. All profits will be donated to the KIDS Foundation.
