Huge range of trucks and trailers up for auction

As the year draws to a close, auction giant Ritchie Bros. is kicking off its ‘Finish Strong, Start Stronger’ campaign, designed to help equipment owners maximise their returns before year-end.

Ritchie Bros. said the campaign offers a strategic opportunity to clear inventory, free up capital, and optimise storage space in preparation for a strong start in 2025, and delivers an exceptional range of high-quality equipment to buyers across multiple sectors, including construction, mining, agriculture, and transportation.

The Australian auctions kick off on November 12 with an impressive range of trucks, trailers and other equipment in the IronPlanet offerings.

That’s followed soon after by the Australian National Auction from November 27-28 which features 203 trucks and trailers, including two unused 2024 Kenworths, a W900 SAR Legend and a T909.

Ritchie Bros. said this campaign builds on the success of the previous Super September initiative, which achieved remarkable results.

During this campaign, Ritchie Bros. conducted eight online auctions – six in Europe, one in the UAE and another one in Australia – attracting almost 15,000 registrations from eager buyers.

Notably, 41 per cent of these participants hailed from outside the host countries, highlighting the company’s extensive global reach.

In total, more than 13,100 heavy equipment lots were sold, with over 5500 lots purchased by international buyers. The September auctions engaged more than 4000 successful buyers.

“As the largest unreserved auction company worldwide, we’re committed to attracting buyers from across the globe to our upcoming November and December auctions,” said Sam Wyant, president Ritchie Bros. International Sales.

“With comprehensive end-to-end support, we handle every aspect of the transaction, ensuring a seamless and secure process from start to finish.”
