Save the date for these Christmas truck events and more

With Christmas just around the corner, Brisbane truckies are getting into the festive spirit with their Twilight Toy Run this weekend.

Meanwhile down in Tassie, the transport community is gearing up for its annual Convoy for Kids – and we expect to see plenty of tinsel and lights decorating those rigs, while raising money for a great cause.

Looking ahead to next year, there are heaps more truck shows to put in your diaries. Check out our calendar below.

DECEMBER 2024

Brisbane Truckies Twilight Toy Run
December 7, 2024
Brendale, QLD

The first annual Brisbane Truckies Twilight Toy Run will take place on December 7, spreading holiday cheer to children impacted by domestic violence. Trucks, volunteers and members of the community will meet at the Mower Supastore at 1/245 Leitchs Road in Brendale at 4pm, ready for a 5pm departure. Families are welcome to soak up the festive atmosphere and kids are encouraged to check out the big rigs up close – even climbing in for a look.

Tassie Convoy 4 Kids
December 14, 2024 
Glen Lea Road, Pontville, TAS 

The Tassie Convoy 4 Kids is back, and this year it will be extra festive as it’s being held closer to Christmas than usual. Owners of the “Top 10” trucks will pay a $100 entry fee before fundraising as much as possible, battling it out to be named lead truck – with all money raised donated to the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Children’s Ward. All other trucks are also welcome to join the convoy on the day (no registration required). For more information contact Emma on 0448810441. 

JANUARY 2025

Geelong Classic Truck and Machinery Show
January 11-12, 2025 
Geelong Showgrounds, VIC

The Geelong Classic is back, featuring trucks, classic cars and bikes, vintage tractors and steam engines. Various clubs will also be in attendance, from Lego Club to Model Clubs. Entry for adults is $15, kids under 15 and exhibitors go free. 

Koroit Truck Show
January 25, 2025
Victoria Park, Koroit, VIC

Koroit comes alive at its annual truck show with a large truck display, motorcycle performance, state wood chopping competition, live music, market stalls and more. Don’t miss the popular truckie sprint and the tug of war!

FEBRUARY 2025

Lardner Park Heritage Vehicle Display
February 1-2, 2025
Lardner Park, VIC 

The dates have been set for next year’s Lardner Park Heritage Vehicle Display. Historic, classic and veteran vehicles (25 years and older) are welcome, from trucks and cars to tractors, motorbikes, caravans and more. Public gates open Saturday 10am to 4pm, Sunday 9.30am to 2pm. Booking essential for the Saturday night dinner – contact Helen on 0437 953 304. Admission: adults $15, 12-18 years $5, exhibitors and under 12s free. 

Tooradin Tractor Pull and Truck Show
February 15, 2025 
Tooradin, VIC 

The Tooradin Tractor Pull & Truck Show has been an annual event since 1998 and has grown into a fantastic family day packed with fun things to see and do. It is a non-profit event run by a committee of locals, with all proceeds going back into local clubs, schools and various charities. As well as the vintage tractor pull and truck display, attendees can look forward to amusements, full catering, helicopter rides and more.  

Angaston Truck Show & Shine 2025

February 22, 2025.
Angaston, SA

The Angaston Show Truck Show & Shine will return next year, in conjunction with the Angaston Show. They welcome all trucks of all ages, conditions and uses from all areas, locally and from far afield. More details to follow.

Camp Quality Convoy Geelong
February 23, 2025
Beckley Park, VIC

The Camp Quality Convoy Geelong is back, and this year it’s celebrating its 10th anniversary. The convoy starts and finishes at Beckley Park, where an awards ceremony, free Family Fun Festival and show’n’shine complete a fantastic day out.

MARCH 2025

Lockhart Truck Show
March 1, 2025
Lockhart, NSW

Celebrate road transport history, past and present, at the annual Lockhart Truck Show. The event features historic and modern trucks and other vehicles such as motorbikes, and classic and vintage cars, on display in the pavilion.
There will also be food and prizes for winners in a wide range of categories. Camping is available overnight for a donation and includes a Sunday morning breakfast.

Clunes Historic Vehicle Show
March 9, 2025
Clunes, VIC

The annual Clunes Historic Vehicle Show is brought to you by the Historic Commercial Vehicle Club of Australia’s Ballarat branch. The event has something for everyone, with a vast array of vintage and classic vehicles and motoring memorabilia. Expect food vans, photos and working displays with like-minded people displaying their vehicles, engines and collections.

Australian White Truck Muster
March 15-16, 2025
Kyabram Showgrounds, VIC

The 10th Australian White Truck Muster is a truck, bus, car, tractor and memorabilia display featuring White and associated brands, as well as an all-scale model muster (plastic, resin and diecast). Trucking Australia 2025

Adelaide, SA

Trucking Australia will return in April 2025 – and this time it’s coming to Adelaide. Information on ticket sales will be available on the ATA webpage and through the ATA’s weekly newsletter from November 2024.

MAY 2025

Brisbane Truck Show
May 15-18, 2025
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, QLD

Tickets are now on sale for the much-anticipated 2025 Brisbane Truck Show, the southern hemisphere’s largest festival of all things trucking. Building on the success of past shows, all exhibition space is already sold out, guaranteeing attendees over 30,000 square metres of exhibitions of the latest trucks, trailers, technologies, and parts and accessories available on the Australian market.

The 2025 show from May 15-18 will be a critical component of Truck Week, a week-long festival incorporating an array of activations in nearby South Bank Parklands, including the Premier Boxing Series, Australia’s Best Show N Shine, and The Depot careers and entertainment hub – plus the Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show at RNA Showgrounds and the Heritage Truck Show at Rocklea.

Scenic Rim Truck Show 2025

Get excited for the Scenic Rim Truck Show! Held from 10am to 6pm, the show will feature plenty of trucks along with market stalls, rides, entertainment, raffles and a live auction. All profits will be donated to the KIDS Foundation. 

JUNE 2025

Alexandra Truck Show
June 7-8, 2025

Alexandra, VIC

The Alexandra Truck Show is back on the King’s Birthday weekend in June next year, with a Sunday Show ‘n’ Shine on the town’s main street, as well as live music, a Victorian woodchop tournament, exhibitions, trade displays, kids’ amusements and a raffle. NOVEMBER 2025

Mullumbimby Truck Show
November 8, 2025
Mullumbimby, NSW

Held in conjunction with the annual Mullumbimby Agricultural Show on the second Saturday of November each year, you won’t want to miss the Mullumbimby Truck Show! This event will feature a truck parade through the town, sideshow alley, kids’ rides, food vans, full bar facilities and live music. Other features include horse and cattle events including trotting. Castlemaine Rotary Truck Show
November 29-30, 2025
Castlemaine, VIC

Held at Campbells Creek Recreation Reserve and organised by the Castlemaine Rotary Club, next year’s truck show is gearing up to be bigger and better than ever.
