This year’s Tassie Convoy for Kids was a major success, with truckies raising thousands of dollars for the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Children’s Ward.
Rob Sutton, who drives for AG & N Barker, was given the honour of lead truck after raising an impressive $2750, with Toby Rolle from All Pumping Solutions right behind him with a donation of $2610.
Organisers said it was the “biggest convoy yet”, with a great turnout from truckies and spectators.
“This year was another incredible race for lead,” they said in an update.
“The top three or four spots were constantly changing.
“Congratulations to all drivers and businesses for their efforts.”
An update on the total amount raised will be shared by the end of this week.
