The Australian Trucking Association is seeking expressions of interest from people who would like to run sessions or be part of a panel at Trucking Australia 2025.
Trucking Australia is the road transport industry’s premier annual event and an excellent opportunity for industry professionals to meet face-to-face and collaborate on potential solutions.
This year’s event will take place in Adelaide from April 28-30, with the program based on the ATA’s strategic plan, focusing on safety, people, viability and the industry’s future.
With over 400 delegates expected to attend, speakers will have a unique opportunity to share their knowledge and experience.
Previous speakers at Trucking Australia have included transport ministers and shadow ministers, industry leaders like Sharon Middleton, Paul Kahlert and Ron Finemore, and policy experts like Dr Sarah Jones.
ATA CEO Mathew Munro says “Speaking at Trucking Australia is an unrivalled opportunity to build connections with representatives from over 150 organisations across the trucking and transport sector. These include operators, manufacturers, suppliers, government agencies and training organisations.”
The ATA is particularly interested in session proposals that:
- present new research, information or thoughts about topics aligned with their strategic plan
- involve session ideas that go beyond keynotes and panel discussions, such as consultation workshops, desktop exercises or masterclasses.
The association is less likely to accept proposals that:
- look like they’re a sales pitch for your business or product, rather than using your experience as background for a broader discussion
- involve panels whose speakers are all the same gender.
EOIs will be subject to consideration by the TA25 program committee and will receive a complimentary day pass to the event. Speakers and panellists will be responsible for their travel costs and accommodation.
